As the fascist wing of the ruling class reorients itself after it's historic defeat of reproductive rights, working class Transgender people, particularly children, now find themselves the target of the ongoing cultural counter-revolution spearheaded by the GOP and the Christian Right. Reactionary propagandists such as Matt Walsh and Tucker Carlson have rallied around the lie that gender affirming care for trans youth is a form of grooming. Yet for as long as class dictatorship has developed, gender roles have been formed as institutions of the oppressor. Many classless societies throughout history have had radically different interpretations of sex and gender than the binary understanding we hold today under capitalism. Gender roles in our society are quite literally thrust upon our youth from the moment their born in service to the nuclear family as it exists as an economic unit. If working people do not have self determination over their own bodies and gender expression, then their very being is naught but property of the ruling class. Children are no exception, the only reason why exposing children to "the trans agenda" is grooming, and forcing children to abide by societal norms of masculinity and femininity are not is because only the former challenges the bourgeois familial structure. We demand that every working person have self determination over their own bodies and gender expression no matter what age. Trans Liberation Demands Rage!
